Looking to attract delegates from #PHLDNC to your establishment this July? The DNC has been working with local business associations to ensure our local economy is both spotlighted and supported during the convention. To that end, here are two easy ways to get involved:

    1) #DNCDeals

#DNCDeals is a campaign that will help build excitement about exclusive offerings around town and create a fun and engaging atmosphere for Philadelphia and the Convention. Shops, restaurants, bars and attractions can offer unique and exclusive deals or specials on food, beverage, clothing and merchandise, attraction admission, and more. And #DNCDeals is for everyone to take advantage of – Convention attendees, media, residents and visitors.

Businesses can participate in #DNCDeals simply by using the hashtag on their social media accounts to spread the word about what they’re doing for DNC 2016 in Philadelphia. Businesses will be able to update or add more deals to #DNCDeals at any time once the program launches, on Wednesday, June 1, simply by using the #DNCDeals hashtag from your business’s social media account, e.g. Twitter, Instagram, etc.

To learn more about #DNCDeals, click here.

    2) Plan a Special Event

The DNC planning committee has reached out to us to inquire about local businesses offering any special events or promotions during or leading up to the Democratic National Convention, July 25-28, 2016.

If you are making any special arrangements please send and e-mail to kmoran@fairmountcdc.org with the details and we will share with the DNC to ensure they promote them with attendees during the event.

The 2016 Democratic National Convention will take place in Philadelphia July 25-28 -- less than five months away! In an effort to give a warm welcome to the tens of thousands of delegates, media, residents and visitors who will enjoy the city during the week of the Convention, the DNC is creating a "DNC Experience" program to help guide participating attractions, restaurants, bars, stores and similar businesses - like yours - to best participate in the excitement in town.

They have created the following form to give them an understanding of how you would like to participate in the DNC Experience program. Please note that some program aspects may be discontinued if there is not adequate participation.

Please complete and submit this form by April 15, 2016. Feel free to forward to your own networks too if you think they would be interested in participating - the more businesses that are involved in this program, the more welcoming and fun Philadelphia will feel during the Convention. If you have any questions, please contact dncpromotionalprogram@gmail.com.
