Businesses located on both West Girard Avenue (2500-2900) and Fairmount Avenue (1400-2500) now eligible for Storefront Improvement Program

Fairmount Avenue (between Broad and 25th Streets) is once again eligible for the City of Philadelphia's Storefront Improvement Program (SIP). Thanks to the hard work by folks at Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations, Philadelphia Department of Commerce and City Council the funding sources for the program have been modified to allow for more commercial corridors to be eligible. Business owners and/or tenants along Fairmount Avenue can now be reimbursed up to 50% of their costs to improve their storefront.  While this is new for businesses along Fairmount Avenue, businesses along West Girard Avenue are also eligible between College Avenue and 29th Street. View the application at the link below and for assistance, please contact Kevin at kmoran@fairmountcdc.org.
